Downtown Christmas Market

Bishop Land Design was asked to develop a conceptual vision and plan for a Christmas Market in downtown Grand Rapids. BLD worked with the client team with review of precedent case studies and discussions to create rendered imagery reflecting the resulting ideas about general approach and character of the market, to help with fundraising efforts and to guide future development of plans for the space. 

Potential layouts, including a stage and vendor stalls, and approach to decorations, and wayfinding within the market, were studied and developed based on the client’s vision of creating a European style holiday market. BLD created a scheme that accommodated food vendors, gift stalls and spaces for programming and gathering.
